The story of SPAR Slovenia began with the first SPAR store in Ljubljana – it was in the summer of 1991, during the independence of the Republic of Slovenia. We brought a shopping experience to the Slovenian market based on the example of modern European stores and set clear operating guidelines that are still the basis of our work today: offer the best ratio between quality and price, provide a wide and varied selection, ensure that products are always fresh and work together for common goal – the satisfaction of every customer.
