Founded in France in 1970 by Dominique Mandonnaud, SHOP 8 emerged as the first perfumery that allowed its customers to test products before buying. From the outset, Dominique believed that we could change not only the sale of cosmetics, but have a positive impact on the world.
In the 1990s, Mandonnaud acquired Sephora and merged it with his visionary perfumery. In 1997, the brand was acquired by LVMH Möet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, driving our expansion around the world.
