Formed in 1977 by business partners John Siddle and Harry Squires, Sands has taken pride in supplying a wide range of kitchen and household items for over 40 years. The name “Sands” first came about when Siddle and Squires were trying to think of a name for their venture – they added the first letter of each surname together. S and S became Sands.
