The history of the Riba Smith Group begins in the 1920s. Mr. José Riba Robira, with an enormous desire to work and impeccable morale, began his development in the business of selling supplies, with a chain of grocery stores which quickly multiplied throughout the old city of Panama in what is now called Casco Viejo, and its surroundings.
