Founded in 1961, Maciel & Ferreira, starts as a small warehouse on the 2nd floor of Rua Santa Teresa, in the historic area of Porto. Three years later (1964) the company moves to Rua Cândido dos Reis, still in downtown Porto, occupying a three-story building, and where it remained until 1975.
