It was with the end of World War I that our story began, when the young officer of the Royal Army, Giovanni La Motta, returned from the front with a desire to turn the tables. With the help of his brothers, Luigi and Domenico, he joined the historic family business, engaged since 1898 in the wholesale wine trade, with a laboratory for the production of carbonated spirits and ice.
