De Tommasis Pharmacy, founded by Giuseppe de Tommasis, opened the first pharmaceutical dispensary in 1890.
His son Giustino continued the tradition, opening the pharmacy in Piazza Arenella, joined in turn by his son Giuseppe who, in 1950, moved the premises to where they remain today. Today the de Tommasis Pharmacy is led by pharmacists Bianca, Matilde and Irene, who represent the fifth generation of de Tommasis pharmacists.
